Fiksna hitrost ima \u0161est fiksnih stopenj od 6 Gb\/s do 48 Gb\/s. Ta protokol je bil zasnovan za novej\u0161e televizorje in monitorje, ki podpirajo visoke hitrosti sli\u010dic in lo\u010dljivosti. Za povezavo priklju\u010dkov HDMI, ki podpirajo protokol FRP, je potreben poseben hitri kabel HDMI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Fiksne podatkovne hitrosti FRL<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>FRL podpira \u0161est podatkovnih hitrosti s 3 do 4 kanali. Podpora za tri kanale je uvedena zaradi zdru\u017eljivosti s starim protokolom TMDS, ki je omogo\u010dal hitrosti prenosa podatkov do 18 Gbit\/s.<br>V praksi je hitrost nastavljena na naslednji na\u010din: izbrana je najvi\u0161ja mo\u017ena hitrost, ki jo podpira sprejemnik. \u010ce televizor ali monitor ne podpira protokola FRL, se ta protokol ne bo uporabil, prenos pa bo potekal prek protokola TMDS, ki zagotavlja zdru\u017eljivost s starej\u0161imi televizorji in monitorji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Preglednica hitrosti, ki jih podpirajo vrata HDMI s FRP<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Vsaka hitrost je zasnovana za dolo\u010deno kakovost videa, kot so lo\u010dljivost, podvzor\u010denje videa (stiskanje prenesenega videa s posebnimi algoritmi) in barvna globina videa. FRL6 na primer deluje za videoposnetke 4K in 8K z 12-bitno barvno globino. Danes noben televizor ne podpira 12-bitne barvne globine. Ob vzpostavitvi povezave bo konzola PS5 od televizorja prejela informacijo, da podpira video parametre; televizor je na primer konzolo obvestil, da podpira 40 Gb\/s; v tem primeru bo povezava
