V\u00fdsledkom je, \u017ee nedok\u00e1\u017eu zobrazi\u0165 skuto\u010dne \u010diernu farbu; namiesto toho \u010dierna vyzer\u00e1 ako tmavosiv\u00e1. V\u00fdrobcovia telev\u00edzorov sa rozhodli tento nedostatok premeni\u0165 na v\u00fdhodu a vyvinuli algoritmy, ktor\u00e9 vyp\u00ednaj\u00fa podsvietenie pri zobrazovan\u00ed \u010diernej. Ka\u017ed\u00e1 zna\u010dka si vytvorila vlastn\u00fd n\u00e1zov pre t\u00fato technol\u00f3giu, \u010do viedlo k vzniku pribli\u017ene 50 r\u00f4znych v\u00fdrazov pre lok\u00e1lne stmievanie. Niektor\u00e9 firmy maj\u00fa dokonca a\u017e desa\u0165 tak\u00fdchto ozna\u010den\u00ed, hoci tieto algoritmy s\u00fa dnes u\u017e \u0161tandardn\u00e9 podprogramy zabudovan\u00e9 v procesore a v\u00fdrobcovia ich \u010falej nevyv\u00edjaj\u00fa ani neudr\u017eiavaj\u00fa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Typy lok\u00e1lneho stmievania<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ako u\u017e bolo spomenut\u00e9, napriek mno\u017estvu obchodn\u00fdch n\u00e1zvov v praxi existuj\u00fa len tri hlavn\u00e9 typy lok\u00e1lneho stmievania. Technicky sa s\u00edce daj\u00fa \u010falej rozdeli\u0165 pod\u013ea konkr\u00e9tneho typu LED panelu, ale tieto rozdiely nie s\u00fa pre be\u017en\u00e9ho pou\u017e\u00edvate\u013ea d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9. Zamerajme sa preto na tri z\u00e1kladn\u00e9 typy, ktor\u00e9 sa v modern\u00fdch telev\u00edzoroch skuto\u010dne vyskytuj\u00fa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Edge-lit lok\u00e1lne stmievanie<\/strong><br>V telev\u00edzoroch s okrajov\u00fdm podsvieten\u00edm (edge-lit) je lok\u00e1lne stmievanie \u010dasto sk\u00f4r marketingov\u00fdm pojmom ne\u017e re\u00e1lnou funkciou. Tieto telev\u00edzory pou\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fa LED p\u00e1sy umiestnen\u00e9 na okrajoch obrazovky \u2013 naj\u010dastej\u0161ie v spodnej \u010dasti \u2013 ktor\u00e9 osvet\u013euj\u00fa cel\u00fd panel. Ke\u010f\u017ee tak\u00fdto sp\u00f4sob podsvietenia osvet\u013euje ve\u013ek\u00e9 \u010dasti obrazovky naraz, presn\u00e9 stmievanie je ve\u013emi obmedzen\u00e9. Teoreticky m\u00f4\u017ee telev\u00edzor stlmi\u0165 \u013eav\u00fa alebo prav\u00fa polovicu obrazovky, ale v re\u00e1lnom obsahu je to len zriedkavo u\u017eito\u010dn\u00e9. Algoritmus b\u00fdva ve\u013emi jednoduch\u00fd a spravidla vyp\u00edna podsvietenie iba vtedy, ke\u010f je polovica obrazovky \u00faplne \u010dierna \u2013 \u010do sa takmer nikdy nest\u00e1va. V praxi edge-lit telev\u00edzory \u2013 najm\u00e4 lacnej\u0161ie modely \u2013 neposkytuj\u00fa efekt\u00edvne lok\u00e1lne stmievanie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Full-array lok\u00e1lne stmievanie (FALD)<\/strong><br>Full-array stmievanie sa stalo mo\u017en\u00e9 v\u010faka zavedeniu LED panelov s rovnomerne rozlo\u017een\u00fdm podsvieten\u00edm po celej ploche za obrazovkou. V t\u00fdchto telev\u00edzoroch s\u00fa LED di\u00f3dy rozdelen\u00e9 do z\u00f3n, ktor\u00e9 mo\u017eno ovl\u00e1da\u0165 nez\u00e1visle. Z\u00e1kladn\u00e9 modely m\u00f4\u017eu ma\u0165 len nieko\u013eko z\u00f3n a jednoduch\u00fa logiku stmievania, zatia\u013e \u010do vy\u0161\u0161ie modely obsahuj\u00fa desiatky z\u00f3n s jemnej\u0161\u00edm riaden\u00edm, \u010do umo\u017e\u0148uje presnej\u0161ie prisp\u00f4sobenie aktu\u00e1lnemu obrazu. Tento pr\u00edstup vidite\u013ene zlep\u0161uje kontrast, no st\u00e1le m\u00e1 svoje obmedzenia: ka\u017ed\u00e1 LED z\u00f3na zvy\u010dajne pokr\u00fdva v\u00e4\u010d\u0161iu \u010das\u0165 obrazovky, a tak m\u00f4\u017ee doch\u00e1dza\u0165 k ne\u017eiaducim efektom, ako je tzv. blooming (\u017eiariv\u00fd \u201esv\u00e4to\u017eiara\u201c efekt) okolo jasn\u00fdch objektov na tmavom pozad\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mini LED<\/strong><br>Mini LED predstavuje ve\u013ek\u00fd krok vpred v oblasti podsvietenia. Tieto telev\u00edzory vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fa stovky a\u017e tis\u00edce extr\u00e9mne mal\u00fdch LED di\u00f3d po celej zadnej strane panela, \u010do umo\u017e\u0148uje v\u00fdrazne v\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed po\u010det stmievan\u00fdch z\u00f3n. To poskytuje ove\u013ea presnej\u0161iu kontrolu nad jasom a tmou na obrazovke. V\u00fdsledkom s\u00fa telev\u00edzory s lep\u0161\u00edm kontrastom, hlb\u0161ou \u010diernou a lep\u0161\u00edm v\u00fdkonom v tmav\u00fdch sc\u00e9nach v porovnan\u00ed s tradi\u010dn\u00fdmi LED modelmi. Lok\u00e1lne stmievanie tu naozaj funguje efekt\u00edvne a v niektor\u00fdch pr\u00edpadoch dosahuje \u00farove\u0148 OLED \u2013 najm\u00e4 v jase. Tento v\u00fdkon v\u0161ak nie\u010do stoj\u00ed: Mini LED panely s\u00fa st\u00e1le drah\u00e9 a nach\u00e1dzaj\u00fa sa najm\u00e4 vo vlajkov\u00fdch alebo pr\u00e9miov\u00fdch modeloch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Lok\u00e1lne stmievanie a marketing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marketing ve\u013emi \u010dasto vyu\u017e\u00edva pojem \u201elok\u00e1lne stmievanie\u201c \u2013 niekedy aj vtedy, ke\u010f je technol\u00f3gia slabo implementovan\u00e1 alebo \u00faplne ch\u00fdba. V\u00fdrobcovia si vym\u00fd\u0161\u013eaj\u00fa vlastn\u00e9 n\u00e1zvy \u2013 ako napr\u00edklad \u201eMicro Dimming\u201c, \u201eUHD Dimming\u201c alebo \u201eSupreme Contrast\u201c \u2013 ktor\u00e9 znej\u00fa p\u00f4sobivo, ale technicky m\u00f4\u017eu znamena\u0165 len softv\u00e9rov\u00e9 spracovanie obrazu bez skuto\u010dn\u00fdch z\u00f3n podsvietenia. Navy\u0161e spotrebitelia len zriedka dostan\u00fa inform\u00e1cie o k\u013e\u00fa\u010dov\u00fdch parametroch: ko\u013eko z\u00f3n sa pou\u017e\u00edva, ak\u00fd typ podsvietenia je pou\u017eit\u00fd a \u010di doch\u00e1dza k halo efektu okolo svetl\u00fdch objektov na tmavom pozad\u00ed. V\u0161etko to vytv\u00e1ra il\u00faziu pr\u00e9miovej kvality, zatia\u013e \u010do re\u00e1lny obraz m\u00f4\u017ee by\u0165 \u010faleko od ide\u00e1lu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">V d\u00f4sledku toho sa lok\u00e1lne stmievanie stalo sk\u00f4r marketingov\u00fdm n\u00e1strojom ne\u017e skuto\u010dnou technickou funkciou. Je obzvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 be\u017en\u00e9 pri strednej a lacnej\u0161ej triede telev\u00edzorov, kde m\u00e1 zlep\u0161i\u0165 \u0161pecifik\u00e1cie na papieri. Skuto\u010dn\u00e9 v\u00fdhody v\u0161ak mo\u017eno pozorova\u0165 len pri drah\u00fdch modeloch s plnohodnotn\u00fdm stmievan\u00edm (FALD alebo Mini LED) a v\u00fdkonn\u00fdm obrazov\u00fdm procesorom.
