Bol \u0161tandardom pre anal\u00f3gov\u00e9 telev\u00edzne vysielanie a pou\u017e\u00edval sa aj pre DVD. Existuj\u00fa anal\u00f3gov\u00e9 aj digit\u00e1lne SD \u0161tandardy, hoci term\u00edn SDTV sa v\u0161eobecne pou\u017e\u00edva na ozna\u010denie digit\u00e1lnej verzie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na modern\u00fdch telev\u00edzoroch vyzer\u00e1 SD obsah v\u00fdrazne rozmazane, preto\u017ee obsahuje relat\u00edvne m\u00e1lo obrazov\u00fdch detailov. V porovnan\u00ed so SD poskytuje HD ove\u013ea ostrej\u0161\u00ed obraz s lep\u0161\u00edm podan\u00edm detailov a viac vidite\u013en\u00fdmi detailmi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Form\u00e1t HD vznikol so zaveden\u00edm digit\u00e1lnej telev\u00edzie a za\u010diatkom digit\u00e1lneho vysielania. Ke\u010f sa rozl\u00ed\u0161enie SD stalo nedostato\u010dn\u00fdm pre rast\u00face po\u017eiadavky digit\u00e1lneho obsahu, za\u010dalo sa zav\u00e1dza\u0165 HD. Napriek tomu sa HD st\u00e1le pou\u017e\u00edva v niektor\u00fdch telev\u00edznych prenosoch a online vide\u00e1ch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Full HD TV<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Full HD (FHD) m\u00e1 rozl\u00ed\u0161enie 1920 \u00d7 1080 pixelov a je zn\u00e1me aj ako 1080p. Poskytuje viac ne\u017e dvojn\u00e1sobn\u00fd po\u010det pixelov oproti HD, \u010do vedie k v\u00fdrazne ostrej\u0161iemu a detailnej\u0161iemu obrazu. Po mnoho rokov bolo Full HD \u0161tandardn\u00fdm rozl\u00ed\u0161en\u00edm pre telev\u00edzory, Blu-ray disky, hern\u00e9 konzoly a \u010fal\u0161ie videozariadenia. So zaveden\u00edm UHD displejov sa v\u0161ak Full HD stalo v telev\u00edzoroch ove\u013ea menej be\u017en\u00fdm. Napriek tomu nestratilo svoj v\u00fdznam, preto\u017ee v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ina vide\u00ed sa st\u00e1le produkuje vo Full HD, ke\u010f\u017ee poskytuje optim\u00e1lnu rovnov\u00e1hu medzi kvalitou obrazu a objemom d\u00e1t potrebn\u00fdch na prenos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>UHD TV rozl\u00ed\u0161enie<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Telev\u00edzory UHD (4K) maj\u00fa rozl\u00ed\u0161enie 3840 \u00d7 2160 pixelov, \u010do predstavuje \u0161tvorn\u00e1sobok po\u010dtu pixelov oproti Full HD. Tieto telev\u00edzory sa za\u010dali objavova\u0165 v rokoch 2015 a\u017e 2016 po rozsiahlom prechode v\u00fdrobcov panelov na v\u00fdrobu 4K displejov. Dnes je UHD (4K) dominantn\u00fdm telev\u00edznym rozl\u00ed\u0161en\u00edm a je \u0161iroko podporovan\u00e9 streamovac\u00edmi slu\u017ebami, hern\u00fdmi konzolami a diskami Ultra HD Blu-ray. Najnov\u0161\u00ed vysielac\u00ed \u0161tandard ATSC 3.0 (Advanced Television Systems Committee), prijat\u00fd v Spojen\u00fdch \u0161t\u00e1toch a nieko\u013ek\u00fdch \u010fal\u0161\u00edch krajin\u00e1ch, tie\u017e podporuje rozl\u00ed\u0161enie 4K.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ve\u013ek\u00e1 \u010das\u0165 dne\u0161n\u00e9ho videoobsahu sa vyr\u00e1ba v 4K. Dokument\u00e1rne filmy o pr\u00edrode sa \u010dasto nat\u00e1\u010daj\u00fa a prezentuj\u00fa v nat\u00edvnom 4K, aby sa zachovala maxim\u00e1lna \u00farove\u0148 detailov. Celove\u010dern\u00e9 filmy sa tie\u017e be\u017ene nat\u00e1\u010daj\u00fa v tomto rozl\u00ed\u0161en\u00ed, ale obraz sa zvy\u010dajne po\u010das postprodukcie upravuje, aby sa zmiernila nadmern\u00e1 detailnos\u0165. Toto mimoriadne vysok\u00e9 rozl\u00ed\u0161enie poskytuje v\u00fdnimo\u010dn\u00fa \u00farove\u0148 detailov obrazu na ve\u013emi ve\u013ek\u00fdch obrazovk\u00e1ch, hoci mno\u017estvo dostupn\u00e9ho 8K obsahu zost\u00e1va obmedzen\u00e9. Napriek relat\u00edvne vysok\u00fdm v\u00fdrobn\u00fdm n\u00e1kladom na 8K panely sa pred\u00e1vali za v\u00fdrobn\u00fa cenu a samotn\u00e9 telev\u00edzory boli prezentovan\u00e9 ako pr\u00e9miov\u00e9 modely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">V roku 2025 v\u0161ak v\u00fdrobcovia panelov zatvorili v\u00fdrobn\u00e9 linky t\u00fdchto panelov z d\u00f4vodu n\u00edzkej ziskovosti a v\u00fdroba 8K telev\u00edzorov bola ukon\u010den\u00e1.
